FREEDOM 2

P. 1-9
Clarification of terms (these are my interpretations which are always subject to revision.

Form--the physical (body)
Field--the energy “field” we are in--

Octave--we are all familiar with the musical scale do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do. The scale begins and ends with the notes “do.” Obviously the notes have a very similar vibration/sound, but the latter one is an octave above the beginning note. Notice applying that idea to the reading--”higher/lower octave.”
**********
I was rereading one of my all time favorite sci-fi books, Dune, by Frank Herbert, and came across this wonderful passage:

“Much that was called religion has carried an unconscious attitude of hostility toward life. True religion must teach that life is filled with joys, pleasing to the eye of God, that knowledge without action is empty. All men must see that the teaching of religion by rules and rote is largely a hoax. The proper teaching is recognized with ease. You can know it without fail because it awakens within you that sensation which tells you this is something you have always known.”

As we have explored before, the claims of “I know who I am; I know what I am; I know how I serve,  are statements of Truth that we are reinforcing for ourselves as being true. They are not wishes or affirmations or an attempt to create something. This “something,” this truth of knowing who you are, already exists within you.
*********************

If you are like me you might find yourself bouncing back and forth between a personal view or understanding of all of this, and a deeper knowing which comes from the heart and the soul. I would encourage us all not to be discouraged, but you realize even this seemingly two steps forward and one step back is both a very limited perception and also an essential part of our chosen learning.

Ponder on this one:
“The field that you hold has been imprinted, not only by us, but your history, your race, your culture in ways that must be released to support the new in reforming you.”

Everything is sacred. Everything is touched by and filled with the Presence of God and therefore the presence of Love. Nothing can exist outside of this truth. So we do not deny the body, nor do we deny any human emotions that might accompany your life circumstances or your response to life circumstances. Not only is all of God but all has also been created by God to enhance and propel this process of continual Evolution and Awakening. Even though we might be aware of that on an individual or personal level, the scope of this, the vastness of all creation, is far beyond the comprehension of the individual mind or the intellect.

It is as if we have blinders on but do not know we have blinders on. Oftentimes we do not even realize that we are choosing to live in limitation by the ideas or beliefs we hold onto.

Limitation is another way of saying separation, and sometimes, even without our knowing, we choose this out of a sense of safety, security, predictability or even habit.

“The realization of the divinity of form comes at a cost. That which you would think you are and anoint yourself as will be released by you at the level you can handle or hold, the higher octave. The two notes may play concurrently, but eventually one note may take precedence. The small self existing in the low octave and the Divine Self existing at the high octave are operating concurrently, but with a predominant echo—and by echo we mean resonance, the resonance of your field, the obligations that you make in karma through form in the dense vibration, these things that you believe will always be there that will align to the small self at the cost of what would be brought.”

I am reminded of that incident in the life of Jesus described in the gospels as the story of the Rich Young Man who lovingly and honestly approach to Jesus and essentially asked him what do I need to do with my life. The first response was to “obey the Commandments” and the young man replied that he did that with all his heart. And then it goes on to say that Jesus looked at him with love and said, “If you will be perfect go sell what you have and give it all to the poor and come follow me.” The recorded part of the story ends by saying, “but the man turned and walked away sadly for he had many possessions.”

If we were to apply that story to ourselves, the message would be to go beyond the superficial layers of just doing what is right according to our personality self, but then facing the challenge of letting go of all that we are attached to, all of those old ways we have defined our self. Without knowing it, we are also being asked to let go or release all of those things that get in the way of our sense of worthiness or being unconditionally loved. This what the guides mean by saying, “There is a price to pay.”

If it is any consolation, we can realize that the price will be paid at some time or another. At some time in our personal growth and evolution, we will let go of all that binds us, all that holds us back, all the prevents us from being who we truly are. A Course in Miracles suggests that “this is a required course/” Sometime or some life-time or another we will decide to take it in its fullness. Now that does not mean you have to go out and buy the books because I believe the Course is presented to us in many ways, in many forms, (including the works of Paul Selig) but the essence or the endpoint is always the same-- knowing and embracing and being the truth of Who You Are.

“As the small self continues to claim the world in agreement to history, it continues to render in creation what has been as what will be. And there is an assumption here, an implicit assumption, that things will not change, that the Divine as you in its circuitous way must exist within a landscape that the small self has inherited. To do this is to deny the Divine in form as what you are and its expression as what it sees.
Now you understand the idea that the God Self, if you wish, can see the God in all things, that the True Self, if you wish, can see the truth in all things, but you don’t understand that how it sees confirms what it sees in the manifest world. The divine principle that you are is expressing itself as a creative act and calling into being what it knows to be so, which is often contrary to the teachings of the small self. When the Divine knows the Divine in manifestation, it claims it into being as a creative act, and ideas of limitation that have been confirmed by the small self must be rendered obsolete.”

As we have mentioned before there is an essential “I amness or Divine Identity that is the essence of Who We Are. In a state of forgetfulness we can act out of limitation or express ourselves through our, what is sometimes referred to as our small self which is not a separate entity or identity, but a limiting lens through which the light of divine is shining through. The clearer of the lens the more pure the light that emanates.

Here is one of those excerpts from the book that in some ways summarizes or expresses these deepest truths.

“The Divine as what you are actually exists in a realm where fear cannot manifest. If you really understand what this means, it means that you align to an octave or a level of vibration where the manifestation of the Divine precludes the expression of fear because fear cannot align to it. As you begin to align at this level, you become the expression of it, and by expression of it we mean you align to the manifestation of it in all you see before you. You are agreeing to be what you are at the cost of the old and herald the new by nature of your expression in it and how you perceive and what you claim.”

I am going to include This whole last piece of this section. It is an instruction, a prayer, an affirmation, and a declaration of Truth that goes far beyond time and space and our limited individual consciousness. I would encourage us to say this or read it over a few times and to sit in the spaciousness that is created by the energy in the vibration of these truths.

“Now how this is done is in attunement, and we will do this, not only for the people in the room, but for those who are experiencing these words wherever they may be, and we will announce them for you each as one. As we say these words for the collective, we move into agreement for the collective to resonate as what we say—underline as—the being as you in the common field, the collective field in a new agreement.
Here are the words we will speak for you all:
“On this day we claim that the ones we see before us, the ones in encounter with these words, will be known by us in the higher octave that they abide in. And as we agree to this, as we say these words, we confirm each one of them to align to their higher nature in embodiment. We know who you are in truth. We know what you are in truth. We know how you serve in truth. You are free. You are free. You are free.”

Now as we intend to teach you all, we will also teach the ones who are not present and may never hear these words, and we will invite you all, you who read the texts, you who hear these words, to say these words with us to humanity, incarnation, civilization, in expression through individual intent, and you may say this after us very softly:
“I know who you are in truth. I know what you are in truth. I know how you serve in truth. You are free. You are free. You are free.”

Now, if you wish, know that this is so, that humanity itself, every incarnated individual at its essence, is free in truth, that the divine nature of each, regardless of what he or she thinks, is as present now as it can ever be, and your claim of it in freedom is announcing its purview in humanity in expression.
“I know who you are in truth. I know what you are in truth. I know how you serve in truth. You are free. You are free. You are free.”

Dominion, you see, is creation in action. And your dominion is to claim your world. But if you claim it as a small self, you incur what the small self needs to learn, and perhaps will learn through in a highway. But when you claim as the True Self, you claim love, you claim freedom, you claim truth, and its manifestation will teach you in wonder.

Peace.
