FREEDOM 8

P.49-61

Let us take a few moments to explore the distinction between Transcendence and Transformation. There are certainly some similarities, at least on the surface, and yet the essence of these two actions or intentions, although they might seem the same, can produce different results.

We come to a point, even though we are someone identified with an individual consciousness, that we also begin to know that we are a part of all things, and this awareness of connectedness with all creation becomes the basis of the distinction between Transcendence and Transformation.

As an individual, it is quite understandable that you might seek to get away from or go beyond human experiences that might produce pain or discomfort. It is also quite reasonable that as you choose to go beyond these painful experiences that you also desire produce joy or bliss for yourself. But you see what happens here is that we become overly attached to this joyful state we have created and become somewhat wrapped up in our own little cocoon a blissfulness. The questions then come up “What happens to love; what happens to compassion; what happens to human understanding?”

Transformation is much more of a commitment to raise the vibration of that which we perceive in lower form so that higher forms may be reached by all beings. I do not lose or escape from natural human emotions that might be part of my relationship to you and you're perceived difficulties, but instead of either getting overly wrapped up in them in a personal way or pretending they are not there, I can begin to choose to see you differently. I can choose to see you beyond your pain, beyond your difficulty. To use the books wording, “I Know Who You Are.”

There is a similarity in these two energies because in some ways when I am involved with transformation I am involved with the process of raising up, of going beyond my limited perception and yet my purpose and intention is not to get away from or ignore the feelings or components of negativity,  but you hold them in love so that my perception of the thing as well as the thing itself can move to a higher vibration and be transformed.

We might create or equate the idea of transcendence with “getting high,” and we have all sorts of methods for achieving that goal. What we do not realize is that we create a whole other set of values attempting to keep this process of getting high continually moving and another whole set of values or information to avoid bringing us down. We then become either overtly or very subtly attached to both the method and the means and lose much of our focus on what it is that my soul decided to do here in the first place.

The way Ram Dass put it was is that “There is a tremendous difference between getting high and getting free. (NOtice we do not say, I am high; we say I am free!) In the spiritual Realm as reflected by Mahayana Buddhism, there can be no freedom unless everyone is free.

It is my love and compassion for you, whether it is spoken or demonstrated out loud or within, that also opens the door for your personal transformation. Even though, at the depths of our being, separateness and everything that flows from it-- anger, fear, discord-- is essentially an illusion does not mean we should ignore it. My compassion for you as well as for myself is charged with the realization that you and I are caught within an illusion.(and this is an aspect of my chosen learning). Paradoxically, when I realize I am in an illusion is when I can release it. I can also release my image or my perception of you as being trapped and raise the vibration of my vision to know you was a Divine Child of God. The mystic Gurdjieff stated, “You have to realize you are in prison before you can get out.”

Transformation in some ways is the realization of a Truth that has already existed.

Much of tonight's lesson consisted of reminders and practical information of taking responsibility for our creations and while doing so realizing that we have the power to transform those creations. We approach this knowing as individuals and yet we are also encouraged to be aware that we also create from a racial or group consciousness. This awareness can be a double-edged sword because if we are living in our personality self it feels as if we are taking on the burden of an entire society and we, along with a very few others, seem to be the only ones who are who are holding our candle up and we wonder, through our individual consciousness, how can I possibly in change or transform all this overwhelming inertia that I feel from all of these other individuals or institutions that I am a part of.

Those are all excellent questions and challenges while living in separate identities and personality consciousness. However, we are continually encouraged to recognize and realize that is not Who We Are.

In the realm of Spirit, in the realm of alignment with your true or Divine self, there is no comparison of numbers; there is no reality that says “more is better.” The Divine states emphatically that when you are living in alignment with this higher vibration consciousness that all creation is affected and all creation is transformed.

“When a culture realizes itself as liberating, everything that exists within the culture may understand liberation. ” This is the awareness of Divine consciousness.

This is the separate personality:
“But each culture on this plane is still informed by the action of fear, as was prescribed for it. If you believe that your safety as a country is predicated upon the weakness of every other country, you are operating in fear and will seek to suppress the liberation of every other country. “But we don’t like what they do, we don’t believe as they believe, and we must be right, we have to be right, to support the identity that we collectively agree to.”

When we are living in this limited consciousness, Transformation seems impossible.

A country of love; a country where we legitimately care about one another.

I often wonder what it would be like if the platform of a political party read something like this:
Blessed are the peacemakers...
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice…

Here is a good example of our work. The small self or the separate personality would look upon statements like the above as being impossible. “War and injustice are inevitable” it would say, and would offer up all sorts of examples to prove that.

How easy it is to fall into that sense of this “inevitable” negativity and be overpowered by the weight of it all.

We explored some practical issues around our idealization of the military. We are not here to ignore or deny the heroic efforts of many, however, on the deepest level, you might see the many battles and wars are there for the sole reason to make us feel safe, and it as we have heard and seen so often, the only real safety lies within. As long as my safety is dependent upon externals, there will never be enough; there will always be in need for a bigger bomb or a or a bigger Army.

We are not even suggesting getting into arguments or debates about those who believe differently than we do, however, there are ways and means that we are working with today that helped to allow us to not only be at peace and also bring peace to those around us even if they might not realize it.

In the book we often State “I know who I am I know what I am I know how I serve I am here I am here I am I am free I am free I am free.” We can also repeat that to ourselves and for those whom we are with-- I Know Who You Are, etc.

We have also been gifted by that wonderful form of Hawaiian healing with the simple mantra spoken out loud when we are by ourselves or to quietly ourselves when we are with others, “I love you I'm so sorry please forgive me thank you.” (If you are not familiar with this practice, visit this web site--it will fill you in.

“The claim “you are free, you are free, you are free” may be said to anyone—underline the word anyone—and it will“still be true at the expression level of the True Self because the True Self cannot be incarcerated, is not hidden in a cave, and the recognition of it that you may bring to anyone else will support their realization of their inherent freedom.”

“On this day I choose to realize myself in a collective field of love. The collective field of love exists beyond any illusions of fear or separation that my small self might endow it with. And this collective field is connected to a larger field that I understand as my community, and then my country. As I align that the being that I am is in support of the whole, I can claim the liberation of the country I live in, and, in fact, the whole civilization of the world as in liberation. And here are the words I will use: You are free. You are free. You are free.”

It is important to know that we are still speaking of transformation here. Because of that we are not denying the basic human needs for shelter or food or sustenance that might still exist. I believe that is what Jesus meant when he said “the poor you always have with you.” I do not have to see you as poor, I do not even have to see you in need, but I can see it as being helpful both to you and to me if I were to share with you this extra loaf of bread I have.

“We are speaking of liberation on a high level, and the knowing of the True Self in its full expression, which cannot align to the violence or fear-based choices that have been made throughout history to define a culture, or a country, or a community, or perhaps even a family.”

This last section can become a little intellectual and even somewhat mysterious, but I think it is there to satisfy some of our natural human curiosity. This person of Melchizedek, shows up a couple of times in the Bible; once in what is called the Old Testament later in one of the Epistles of Paul. I'm going to share with you a reference from a book that is called The Secret History of the World. And even know this might produce more questions than answers it might help to satisfy some of our natural curiosity.

AFTER HIS STAY IN EGYPT ABRAHAM moved westwards, towards the region we know today as Palestine. He had to arm and train his servants to rescue his brother who had been captured by local bandits. Following a fierce and bloody fight, he was walking through a valley (which today’s biblical scholars identify with the Kidron Valley), when he met a strange individual called Melchizedek. As with Enoch, there is just a brief mention of Melchizedek in the Bible but an accompanying sense of the numinous and of something important left unsaid. Genesis 14: 18-20: ‘And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him and said “Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth and blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand.” This sense of the numinous is reinforced by a mysterious passage in the New Testament, Hebrews 6.20-7.17: ‘Jesus was made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; to whom Abraham also gave a tenth part of all, first being by interpretation King of righteousness and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually … Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. For he testifieth Thou art a priest forever under the order of Melchizedek.’

“The understanding of the what that we are has been an issue here. Are we divine beings, ascended masters? Are we Melchizedek? Are we the Christ? The way you would delineate the who that we are in most ways would seek to conform to what you want us to be. Are we your angels? Are we your Guides? In truth, we are the True Self, the highest self that may be known in manifestation. As we were once in form, and most of us were, we learned the lessons of this plane and we assumed ourselves, as a result of these lessons, in a higher octave to support the evolution of humanity. The Melchizedek tribe or priesthood, if you wish, is sequential. We are always present on this plane in this work. We have agreed to it and we do this for our own benefit as well.
Our realization of this plane in manifestation of the Kingdom or Christ consciousness as available to all and present as what you are has been our calling, our instruction, our reason for being in this encounter for as long as there has been time. There have been civilizations existing on this planet “The understanding of the what that we are has been an issue here. Are we divine beings, ascended masters? Are we Melchizedek? Are we the Christ? Many of the teachings of our times “were sacrificed, or lost in the sands of time, in the ruins of things that will never be found again. But the consciousness that we hold is still present. The frequency that we hold has been emboldened in many ways by the transition of this plane that you live in. And the echo of our teaching throughout the decades, throughout the centuries or millennium, is as present now, but may be heard by those of you who are willing to say, “Yes, it will be so.”

FREEDOM 5

P. 23-26

There were two major themes that expressed themselves this evening. 1) how bound we are at times with our history and 2) was how fear produces an energetic field which sometimes seems to have a life of its own.

Although as many teachers have pointed out there are only two basic choices, love and fear, I found it interesting that the book explored other dimensions of decision making. It would seem that eventually all comes down to this basic choice of love or fear, however, there are some different forms in which fear or protection might show up in terms of decision-making.

“If you are not choosing in fear, then how are you choosing? Paul is saying, “I don’t know. How am I?” If you are not choosing in fear, you “How am I?” If you are not choosing in fear, you are choosing in several ways. You are choosing out of habit—“I have always done it this way, so I expect I will continue to”—which is historical data. You are choosing out of expectation. “I am expected to be this or that, so I will act in accord to it.” Or you are choosing in reason. “If I choose this, that will occur. If I choose that, I will have that experience.”

If we look closely at all of those reasons above, it is fairly easy to discern that all of them, in some way or another, are a reflection of our history. So, in some ways, we might say these are some of the many forms that our history can disguise itself, especially in the process of making choices.

It would be quite easy here to get into over-analysis, continually question ourselves: “Why am I doing this or why am I thinking this way?” Amore productive approach would be to open yourself up toexploring the issue of whether this is the most loving way I can respond both for myself as well as for others. Alignment or agreement with love or with Truth, or non-judgement or freedom are all expressions of the Christ or Unity consciousness.

As the book states so wonderfully the small self thinks and the true self knows --And when we are in this awareness

“you begin to bypass the history that has claimed you and claimed your choices for you.”

When we begin to find or discover is that when we are in a state of high vibration, when we are expressing ourselves through love, compassion, gratitude, kindness or willingness, we will experience a flow in our decision making process. We will experience choices that do not seem to be choices anymore, they simply seem to coincide with the natural rhythms of our soul. We are still choosing, but it is not a choice that involves effort or struggle. If I am “in love” then the most natural choices for me will be loving ones. I will not even have to think about i;t I will not have to offer the pluses or minuses to my intellect to decide which is better. I will simply be working from my knowing and my knowing is not something that is created, it is something that is already there it is an aspect of the divine nature that I already am.

We do not wish to ignore what is often referred to as fear,  which certainly presents itself as a factor in the process of decision-making. Much of your histories have been aligned to or in agreement with victimhood, people pleasing, and all of these other stumbling blocks which are a reflection identifying with your smaller limited personality self. Put another way, our histories are a reflection of what we have claimed to be our identity, and, for most of us, because we have learned or been taught this way, our identity is equated with this limited self. As one of my teachers likes to say, “From the moment we are born, all of the people in our lives start telling us who we are and the great difficulty is that none of them know who they are.” But unless we are born with a certain level of infused enlightenment we will most often blindly accept what all of these other people are telling us as being true. For many of us, it is only later in life that we realize we have been “duped,” not intentionally, but we have been lied to by people who have accepted their own lies as being the truth.

Why or how does it seem so difficult to get beyond our histories?

There is a metaphysical principle that states “energy follows thought.” In other words thought produces energy and energy affects us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The more a particular thought is agreed to or reinforced, the more energy it begins to hold. If this energy is of a lower vibration, then it takes quite a bit of effort to move through the barrier or the inertia that is formed by this energy field. It is much easier to just travel down the pathway that is already been formed. In 12 step recovery programs that is called looking for an “easier softer way.”

In the light of our awareness, however, no matter how much inertia might be bound up in fearful thinking, we begin to recognize that the path we might have followed in the past no longer serves us. And even though it might be easier, simpler to be led down a familiar pathway, once we have reached a certain level of awareness, strangely and paradoxically enough, it becomes more and more difficult to do.

The question came up—“What about the shame, guilt and sense of “selfishness” that come up when we set boundaries, when we say no, when we listen to the heart rather than the ego, when we go beyond our histories?”
The answer was expressed: “Your guilt, shame, sense of ‘selfishness’ are illusions created by your history.”

Now here is a great truth—the more you become willing to follow the patterns of higher vibration the easier it becomes. The difficulty or the struggle only comes from your limited perception. The Divine self has no problem embracing love and compassion. That is not a difficult choice, it is an obvious one and a natural one as well.

So here is what the guides are speaking about the most here, as we align ourselves with Divine truth not only does that raise the level of higher vibrational energies but it also raises us above the struggles or difficulties that are small self is creating through its limited perception.

“The agreement you will make with us today, if you wish, is that each encounter you have may be in alignment or agreement to truth. Do you hear these words? If each encounter you “you hear these words? If each encounter you have is in alignment or agreement to truth, you are not bound by history or expectation or reason—and, we would promise you, you are not choosing in fear.”

It is time to be reminded once again, that the work that you are doing is affecting and transforming you. This is not a an intellectual learning process or simply an expansion of ideas or information, but it is practical, because it applies to the world you live in and your interaction with that world. We are not even going to make the distinction between the material and the spiritual because by this time that distinction is rather meaningless, but notice through your awareness how you have been strengthened or brought to a higher vibration of understanding that allows you to choose both for yourself and others more lovingly.

Also notice that even though you might not be free of fear, in all of the many forms and disguises it takes on, that it no longer has such a hold on you. It is no longer the controlling influence or definition of self that it might have had even a few months ago.

Please allow yourself this higher vibration of perception as you allow your definition of self to transform more and more deeply into the essential truth of Who You Are.,,

In love and gratitude. Amen

FREEDOM 6

P. 26-40

There are two major themes that emerged here one is that of fear or fearfulness and the other is looking at what is sometimes referred to as the ego/the small self/the personality self in a different way.

One of the things that I found interesting about tonight's lesson was that I can even become fearful about fear. I can tell myself I shouldn't feel this way or fall into over analysis of everything that is going on in my mind and my world and continually asking myself or examining whether this is of fear or not.

I believe the essence of the lesson is not necessarily to judge fear or eliminate fear, but to get a sense of when fear is in control of an aspect of my life or in control of defining me in a certain way. We become aware that when we are controlled by fear, we are in limitation.

When I become aware that fear is a controlling factor in my life, I can begin to make choices and to act or respond differently.

Often times fear can be an out growth of our history. In other words, things we have been taught to be afraid of or of learn to be afraid of and then have accepted that as being the truth. Fear also can be a reflection of our attachments— those people places and things in our lives that we have become overly identified with. We have made them part of ourselves and therefore will experience ourselves as being quite threatened if we are about to lose them. From the framework or the purview of the small self, it would seem that we are losing a part of ourselves.

“If you understand, each of you, that everything that you think is so important in your life is simply temporary and always has been, your attachment to the house, or your idealization of what it means to have a home, may be transformed.”

“once again, we would suggest that is historical programming, data you have used to know your world, and its response in being is fearful when it is triggered. The True Self, the one that you truly are, is never afraid, and you must understand what this means. Your over-identification with the small self, and what she has taught to idealize and also to be fearful of, has claimed these problems, whereas the True Self is always the solution to them.”

We are reminded that our encounters with fear are also essentially a part of our learning. So we do not condemn how our lessons show up. And that is certainly one way of working with fear is asking ourselves and our own inner voice, “What is it you are here to teach me? “What can I learn from you in these circumstances?”

You notice how easy it is to get caught up in the stickiness of the mind. What's a book refers to as the small self or the personality self is not a separate entity that lives inside you, but essentially a limited mode of perception that we fall into when we define or look at ourselves in a limited sort of way. Even this realization by itself can afford us a tremendous amount of learning and growing.

When you choose to rise above the vibration of fear, the fear itself might not disappear but you are attachment to it will no longer be as necessary as it might have been in the past. Your ability to see through the fear as to what the bigger picture might be will be incredibly enhanced when you view it from the mountaintop rather than from the valleys below.

I was reminded of one of my favorite one-liners from the movie “War Games” when the computer learns that there is no way to win a nuclear war or even playing Tic-Tac-Toe in response to its creator by saying:
“A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.”

We have said often times that have fear had a voice it would say “hold on to me and I will keep you safe.” And what we are doing here as we rise above in higher vibration is refusing to play the game of the illusion of safety.

Yes, fear is a powerful and emotional response to some situations in life. Sometimes the response is so ingrained or reflexive that it requires little or no thought at all. We are never condemned or judged for this, but when we allow ourselves to pass through the emotional and energetic charge that we might have been caught up, in we can examine From another book/movie Dune by Frank Herbert

From a science fiction book entitled Dune the main character whose name is Paul was taught by his mother who was trained in a highly advanced school of metaphysics. Here is one of the lessons he learned about fear:

LITANY AGAINST FEAR
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.”

Here we learn that fear is a product of the small self. It is not something that exists was in the true self or higher vibrational awareness. This is neither a judgment or condemnation it is simply an awareness:
“To begin to comprehend that the what that you are, the Divine Self in manifestation, does not collude with or align to fear, you will understand that the True Self exists beyond it. And every encounter you’ve had with fear has been an encounter in lower vibration.
As we teach you about freedom, we want you to understand that freedom from fear and all of its masks will be “To begin to comprehend that the what that you are, the Divine Self in manifestation, does not collude with or align to fear, you will understand that the True Self exists beyond it. And every encounter you’ve had with fear has been an encounter in lower vibration.
As we teach you about freedom, we want you to understand that freedom from fear and all of its masks will be ”

In closing we are outlining the process whereby the “small-self”--the limited sense of self actually participates in this process of growth and evolution. It does not stay stagnant or sullen or angry or fearful. Because it is an aspect of who you are, part of your chosen vehicle here on planet earth, by its very nature, it participates in this process of moving towards wholeness.

“The first thing that happens is you begin to agree to a concept. “I may be more than I am, or more than I have known myself as.” And as this is understood and integrated by the small self, opportunities arise for the small self to begin to claim her identity in consort with the possibility that there is much more to her than perhaps she has ever known.”

“Imagine you are going on a date with your True Self. You have things you expect from any encounter. “I want to be treated well. I don’t want to be told what to do. I want to feel as if I am valued.” Can you understand, friends, that the True Self does these things? She is not out on a mission to exterminate you, and, in fact, at the end of a lifetime she will be holding the small self’s hand and taking the bow with her for the life well lived.”

“When you realize yourself, which simply means know yourself and know who and what you are, the gateway is no longer present because you have stepped through. You have not abandoned the small self, but perhaps you are deciding that your realization at the cost of the known, those things you thought you were, will be claimed by you in a way that will support a life of recognition of the Divine in mastery in all you may know and see.”

FREEDOM 7

P. 39-49

We continue to explore the influence of History on our decision making process and also that when our choices are governed or directed by history these choices, come, many times unconsciously through the limited sense of awareness of my ego or personality consciousness.

There is a marvelous reflection at the beginning of Kurt Vonnegut's book Deadeye Dick that I quote here verbatim:

“To the As-Yet-Unborn, to all innocent wisps of undifferentiated nothingness: Watch out for life. I have caught life. I have come down with life. I was a wisp of undifferentiated nothingness, and then a little peephole opened quite suddenly. Light and sound poured in. Voices began to describe me and my surroundings. Nothing they said could be appealed. They said I was a boy named Rudolf Waltz, and that was that. They said the year was 1932, and that was that. They said I was in Midland City, Ohio, and that was that. They never shut up. Year after year they piled detail upon detail. They do it still. You know what they say now? They say the year is 1982, and that i am fifty years old. Blah blah blah.”

Of course, you can fill in the blanks yourself with your own life and your own history, and as amusing as that sounds, we also realize how captive we can be, not only by our own history, but by other people's description of our history.

“The Divine Self, as we have said many times, could care less what anybody thinks of him or her.* She is free. She is not operating from the dictates of fashion or culture or equivalence that she may have inherited, depending on where she was born and in what year. The Divine as what you are will not be appropriated by the small self.”
Because it cannot be “appropriated by the small self.” I’m reminded of that wonderful truth spoken by The Little Prince: “It is only with the heart that one sees rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
*in and earlier book, I believe it states, “The Divine Self could care less how you feel!”

The truth of Who You Are will always be here, but if you choose, you can block the experience of knowing who you are. Why would anyone do that? you ask. Well, for the most part, shutting out the higher truth or the higher vibration is not something we do consciously, but it happens almost automatically when we are in a state of unawareness or sleepfulness, such as when we are being directed by our history. There are times as well when we become convinced that the spiritual path is too painful or difficult or when we give into the seeming weariness of our small self or our limited perception. Again so much of this is a reflection of what aspect of the self we are choosing either consciously or unconsciously to identify with.

“You have understood surrender in some ways, but the truth of surrender is acceptance, acceptance of the self and all aspects of the self, because nothing can really be moved until it is aligned to and allowed to be moved to a higher “way. If you accept another, like him or not, agree with him or not, you can go into an agreement with who and what she is outside of the small self’s prescriptions. If you judge another, you have every right to believe that you judge yourself in the same fashion. And if you give permission to the True Self to support you in this way, you will find very quickly that you can know yourself without judgment with the support of the aspect of you that would find it impossible to judge.”

“Impossible to judge,” how could that ever happen. In previous works when we have described choosing a higher vibration, there comes with that choice the awareness that old thoughts, beliefs, and patterns of behavior can no longer exist in that higher realm. We become like Teflon; and those older energies that no longer serve us simply have no place to land. There is nothing for them to stick to.

Just for example, imagine that you are in a state of resentfulness lower vibration. If you become observant and aware enough, what you will discover is that practically anything that comes along in your life will cause annoyance. In other words in this state of low vibration your consciousness is extremely “sticky” and almost magnetic. It will attract to you annoyances that you might not even ordinarily be aware of. That's the other side of the picture, instead of being Teflon in the lower vibration you are now Velcro.

We took some time to observe or delineate the process of raising our vibration, to take it out of the realm of the merely theoretical and to give ourselves the opportunity to consciously explore what that really means. The simplest form it takes for me is asking myself the question “Is this thought that I am having, is this action that I am contemplating, does it open my heart or does it close my heart.” Open Heart, High vibration, surrender, acceptance// closed heart, separateness, low vibration, judgment, fear.
Now it is obvious that we are not speaking of your physical heart nor are we speaking of your emotional heart this is more of the spiritual hear--the place within you that you perceive with Oneness. After a bit of practice you can gently become aware of what it is like to have an open heart in terms of compassion love warm non judgment, and what it is like to have a closed heart separateness self-centeredness fear.

It is a simple exercise and yet can be a quite powerful learning experience.

“You must understand this, friends. The True Self does not judge. She does not fear. She does not speak ill of her fellows. She does not speak ill of her small self, either. Why would she? How would she be a friend and an ally if she did such a thing? The Divine as what you are, in manifestation as you, will realize herself at the cost of the known—underline will—and that does include aspects of the self that are out of alignment, weeds in a garden, if you wish, that are prohibiting her from her full manifestation.”

Even the things that come along in life that seemed to get in the way of my more perfect alignment with my Divine self, all of these are lessons to be learned. They are not bad or evil or even wrong. This Is The Stuff of my life and I have chosen as a spiritual being to be an aspect of my learning and evolution. A buddhist teacher once said, The stuff that is in my way is my way.”

Be aware that the stuff that comes up to be released or healed might not always be terribly comfortable and might not fit with our small self image of the self.

I believe the Course states something to the effect “God cannot heal what we are not willing to let go of. So even those things that come to our awareness like anger or fear or jealousy or pettiness, aspects of our life that we do not like to admit even to ourselves, need to be loved and embraced in order to be healed and released.

“When you accept that they are there, you can attend to them, but the True Self as you will attend to them far better and in perfect ways than the small self could ever manage. While the prideful man may become aware of his pride, he will not eradicate pride. He has no ability to do that. The Divine Self certainly does because the Divine Self is not prideful, and his manifestation comes forth in purview. The pride that he has known will be reckoned with, faced, and seen, in order to release so that the True Self may come forth in full bloom.”

When we are aware and in a higher state of consciousness this awareness effects all beings. because we become less and less identified with our personality selves we become less inclined to be lost in our own separate identities.

“The one who knows who she is by nature of being, not through effort, knows who everybody else is as well. She cannot deny the divinity in anyone or anything because that is how she is known, and all she must know is in consort with that. Through the knowing of another, the other is lifted in vibration to a commensurate octave. The octave is present, the one in the high octave sees the truth in the one in the lower, and because she does, the field of the other meets the high, and in that communion you bear witness to truth at the cost of the known. “Behold, I make all things new.”

We end with a challenge

“The acclimation you have to the lives you live now, and will continue to live in complicit nature, will be changing very shortly. You cannot ignore what is in front of you, and like it as you wish, what is before you will not be in your choice in a conscious way, but may well be what the collective has called forth to know itself through. Now when we “teach you freedom, we teach you collective structures and your acclimation to them so you may move beyond them. If you don’t understand that you are complicit to what you see—which simply means that because you are here with them, because you witness them, you are partaking in them and informing them energetically by your consciousness—you cannot understand that how you hold anything in vision supports what you see and in the ways you claim it.”

The world that we live in and our perception of it and all beings that inhabit it are a reflection of our own created Energies. As long as I am holding onto what I might call the “inevitability of history” then the more I am perpetuating the illusion of separateness. Just as a for instance, as long as I am thinking as an individual and a racial consciousness that war and conflict are inevitable then they will be inevitable.
